Alpha Delta Pi has long been involved in philanthropies. At the Grand Convention in 1979, the convention body voted to adopt the Ronald McDonald House Charities (Children's Oncology Services, Inc.) as the new national philanthropy. The Ronald McDonald Houses are located throughout the world near hospitals and provide a "home away from home" for children suffering from cancer and their families. Collegians and alumnae volunteer their time to work at the Ronald McDonald Houses and sponsor fundraising events for the houses. In 1987, Alpha Delta Pi was recognized by the Children's Oncology Services, Inc. for having contributed over $2 million to the Ronald McDonald Houses.

Travel-Sized Toiletries Needed -
If you travel or have access to travel-sized toiletries, please save them. The association collects and donates them to the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children. Items are collected at the Holiday Tea and Founders' Day.
