2016 Team ADPi

This October, Team ADPi returns for their fifth consecutive year running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. There are 26 amazing marathoners that will take their love of running, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Alpha Delta Pi to the streets of Chicago on October 8, 2017. Our runners hail from Florida to Maryland, California, and many places in between. Our team is made up alumnae, collegians, friends, and family members from all over the country, representing 16 chapters and a dedication to our beloved national philanthropy. Team RMHC

Team ADPi Captain and Alpha Delta Pi Foundation Vice President of Philanthropy Jennifer Brown Arends, Beta Sigma –  Mercer University, is excited to have such a great group of runners again this year. When asked what motivates her to be Team ADPi Captain, she said “The knowledge that as a team we can raise so much more money for RMHC than I can as an individual. In addition, seeing people who never thought they could ever run that far actually do it is simply amazing. You never get tired of seeing people accomplish something they thought they could never do. Completing a marathon changes you. It makes you realize that the impossible is possible. Some of these sisters would have never dreamed of doing a marathon but with the knowledge they are doing something good for someone else they are willing to try. I always say that we choose to struggle to help those that don’t have a choice. In my opinion, it is the least we can do.”
