Executive Office has seen a lot of excitement these past few weeks, and it’s not just because Leadership Seminar is right around the corner. Our Executive Office interns arrived, and as they do every year, have brought a new energy to the office. The 2018 Executive Office interns are a group of exceptional women that bring a diverse range of skills and talents to the job. They’ve been a critical part of LS prep, have learned lots from alumnae and professionals, and have already hit a couple hot spots in the ATL! So, without further ado, meet the EO Interns:

Janet Ashworth, Alpha Omicron – Oklahoma State University

Major: Secondary Education, Social Studies and minors in Political Science and History

Dream Job: to lobby for educational equality in DC or work in School District administration.

Why be an EO Intern? I had heard such amazing things about the internship program at Grand Convention in 2017, which was my initial spark of wanting to become an intern. Once the application deadline got closer I realized that by spending the summer at Executive Office, I might be able to spark that same interest in another young leader.

What are you looking forward to the MOST at LS? Emily Torchiana’s keynote!

Fun Fact: My first concert was the Cheetah Girls! (With so many songs about being sisters, I think my inner sorority girl started with them.)

Grace Alexander, Epsilon Omega – Jacksonville University

Major: Dance and minors in Marketing

Dream Job: to dance on cruise ships after graduation as long as my body allows me and then be an Event Planner.

Why be an EO Intern? to learn more about Alpha Delta Pi and the behind the scenes of Executive Office.

What are you looking forward to the MOST at LS? To see how everything looks because we have been designing a lot of the displays, slideshows/movies, and doing other tasks at Executive Office, so it’s going to be amazing seeing it all come together. I am also excited to actually participate in LS and bring back valuable information to my chapter to help us grow stronger.

Fun Fact: I have been dancing for 16 years!

Nicole Nishanian, Theta Nu – Christopher Newport University

Major: Marketing

Dream Job: to work with a non profit cancer society to organize events and fund raise money for research and awareness.

Why be an EO Intern? to learn more about Alpha Delta Pi and the behind the scenes of Executive Office.

What are you looking forward to the MOST at LS? To learn more about an organization that has given me so many incredible people, opportunities and memories. I also wanted to learn more about the history of ADPi and how we operate.

Fun Fact: I have never been to Dallas, Texas, and I am very excited to go to the west since I’m an East coast girl!

Haley Crews, Gamma Theta – The University of Mount Union

Major: Neuroscience

Dream Job: to be a clinical neuropsychologist and a college professor.

Why be an EO Intern? I was fortunate enough to attend Grand Convention in 2017, and witnessing all the behind the scenes work the interns were putting in made me want to be an intern! Alpha Delta Pi has given me so many opportunities, and I viewed the internship was a way to give back to the sorority!

What are you looking forward to the MOST at LS? I’m so excited to experience the new Adelphean Connections track for collegiate emerging leaders, and for the opportunity to meet with sisters who are outside of District IV!

Fun Fact: I’ve played the clarinet for 11 years!

Kelly Raggett, Kappa – Samford University

Major: Marketing and Art

Dream Job: to do marketing and fundraising for a non profit.

Why be an EO Intern? to learn more about ADPi and make connections and network within the organization.

What are you looking forward to the MOST at LS? Meeting sisters from all over the country!

Fun Fact: I love to watch TV, all TV, all the time!

Brooke Woodhouse, Zeta Lambda – Texas A&M University

Major: Supply Chain Management

Dream Job: to be a supply chain analyst for a global company.

Why be an EO Intern? to expand my knowledge of ADPi while networking with sisters in a professional setting – having the opportunity to be around leaders who want me to succeed while we are pushing each other to grow in ways we didn’t expect.

What are you looking forward to the MOST at LS? Learning and talking with emerging leaders and gain a different perspective of ADPi from sisters all around!

Fun Fact: I was Justin Bieber’s One Less Lonely Girl at one of his San Antonio concerts.

Kendal Kennedy, Gamma Phi – East Tennessee State University

Major: Nursing

Dream Job: Nurse Anesthetist

Why be an EO Intern? to expand my love and appreciation for Alpha Delta Pi and to see how this incredible organization operates on an international level.

What are you looking forward to the MOST at LS? I am most looking forward to my very first ADPi conference and to see how all the work that us interns have been doing plays a role in the overall turnout of Leadership Seminar!

Fun Fact: Hank Williams is my great grandfather!

Miranda “Randi” Elizabeth Arce, Theta Psi – Rollins College

Major: Communications – Organizational Leadership

Dream Job: to work for Ronald McDonald House Charities

Why be an EO Intern? to submerse myself in all things Alpha Delta Pi and to have the opportunity to network with sisters at every level of membership.

What are you looking forward to the MOST at LS? I am most excited to see everything come together at LS. Being an intern means we have worked with every department on tasks to get ready for LS, so being able to see the final product and how it affects our members is going to be amazing.

Fun Fact: I have the cutest Beagle/Corgi mix on this side of the Mississippi!
