Packing can be a daunting job, especially if you’re not sure what to bring. While we can’t pack for you, we can help you get started with this packing list! Get excited for Grand Convention with the satisfaction of knowing you have everything you need to get this 168th annual party started!
Grand Convention Daily Attire
BADGE! – Let’s be real, this is an item that can easily be forgotten in a rush! It may sound silly but pack your badge in a safe place first thing so you can ensure you will not leave home without it.
Travel Essentials – No matter how you will be traveling to Las Vegas, there are a few travel essentials that might make the journey a little more comfortable. Here’s a list of a few helpful items!
- Headphones

- Snacks
- Water Bottle
- Travel Pillow
- Big carry on purse
- Gum or mints
- Sunglasses
ADPi Shirt – We’re kicking off Grand Convention 2019 ~Vegas style~ with Casino Night! It might be hard to pick one but try to narrow down your ADPi T-shirt collection and bring your favorite. (Click here for more inspo!)
College Shirt and Socks – Rep your college for a fun night of sisterhood! Any shoes are acceptable but don’t forget to break out those lucky socks for bowling. (Click here for more inspo!)
Jeans – Tasteful jeans of any style ranging from trendy mom jeans to classic skinny jeans of any color are perfect for both Casino and Bowling Nights!
White Dress and White Shoes – The Adelphean Processional is a ceremony full of rich tradition that you’ll want to look your best for! Be sure to pick out a classy all-white dress and all white shoes for this event. (Click here for more inspo!)
Business Attire – Business attire is essential for Grand Convention! Think around 2 badge attire outfits. Slacks, jumpsuits, pantsuits, dresses, and skirts are all acceptable! (Click here for inspo!)
Blue White Business Resort Casual – What ADPi member doesn’t have a piece of our azure blue or white in their closet? Any shade of blue or white business resort casual attire will be perfect for this day! (Click here for inspo!)
Semi-Formal/ Formal Attire – Diamond Awards is your night to shine! Rock your classiest formal or semi-formal attire and feel your best for the last night of Grand Convention 2019. (Click here for inspo!)
Cardigan/ Sweater – Even though we will be in the lovely and hot Las Vegas, convention centers can get a little chilly! Neutral colored cardigans or sweaters are super helpful for unexpected cold rooms and even wardrobe malfunctions (zippers can be tricky sometimes)!
After Hour Attire & Personal Care Items
- Athletic Clothes – Ready to Get Fit with the Foundation? At Grand Convention you will have the opportunity to participate in some morning yoga and a marathon.
- Pajamas and Lounging Clothes – Unwinding is an important part of the day, so don’t forget to grab your sweatpants and slippers!
- Undergarments – These are items you know you don’t want to forget!
- Bathing Suit – If you find the time, the Red Rock Resort and Casino has a beautiful spa and pool to check out! Who says convention can’t be relaxing?
