On Saturday, September 8th, Alpha Delta Pi welcomed 84 new members home to our newest colony at Christopher Newport University!
Tammie Pinkston, Interntaional President, joined the recruitment team in Newport News to kick off recruitment week on Tuesday September, 4th at the information session for potential new members. The colonization recruitment team members included Stacy Bruton, International Vice President of Collegiate Membership; Jana Clayton, NPC 2nd Alternate Delegate; Dawn Victor-Herring, Alpha Delta Pi Foundation President; Patty O’Neill, Expansion Director; Rebecca Gentry, District III Recruitment Director; Jen Dickinson, Growth & Development Manager; Anna Kate Sumler, Senior Leadership Consultant and Rose DeLarme, Leadership Consultant. Collegians from Zeta Xi Chapter at the University of Virginia and Epsilon Chi Chapter at Longwood University also attended recruitment events to assist, as well as, CNU Colony Advisors, Collegiate Province Director Bethany Hover and alumnae from the Tidewater Alumnae Association.
Located in Newport News, Virginia, Christopher Newport University is a public, liberal arts institution, which currently enrolls 4,510 degree-seeking undergraduate students, 57.5% of which are female. Alpha Delta Pi’s new colony joins five other National Panhellenic Council organizations at CNU including Alpha Phi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Gamma Phi Beta, Phi Mu and Zeta Tau Alpha.
