79 Colony Members "Come Home" to ADPi at UCO


Alpha Delta Pi welcomes 79 new members home to our new colony at the University of Central Oklahoma Friday September 14.


Tammie Pinkston, International President, joined the recruitment team in Edmond to kick off recruitment week on Monday, September 10th at the Information Session for potential new members. The colonization recruitment team members included Sydnee Jack, International Secretary; Anne Pogson, Foundation Trustee and Past Grand Council member; Linda Broshears, Collegiate Province Director; Annie Durant, Leadership Services Manager; Barb Andrews, UCO Chapter Advisor; Sarah Steele Banks, Senior Leadership Consultant; Mary Simeoli, Leadership Consultant and Ashley Luizzo, Leadership Consultant.  Collegians from Alpha Omicron Chapter at Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma City alumnae association members also attended recruitment events to assist, as well as, Paula Kendrick, Past Grand Council member.


A local Edmond resident, Lynne Doe, District V Recruitment Director, also assisted with preparations for colonization recruitment and will continue to assist Mary Simeoli, Leadership Consultant, and UCO Advisors and House Corporation members as we prepare for new members to move into the new ADPi house!   


Founded in 1890, UCO is Oklahoma’s oldest institution of higher learning with close to 16,000 students. The state’s third largest university, UCO is located on a 210-acre campus in Edmond, a northern suburb in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area.  Alpha Delta Pi joins four other NPC groups at UCO including Alpha Xi Delta, Alpha Gamma Delta, Delta Zeta and Sigma Kappa.
