Locations across the United States and Canada play a role in the history of Alpha Delta Pi. Sometimes they are a backdrop to our story and sometimes they are integral to the event. Sometimes they were temporary and sometimes they exist for centuries. With this Walk Through History activity, sisters can visit places virtually or in person that are part of our sisterhood story. More information and a passport to mark locations visited is available here.

As the sun goes down on Founders’ Day, the lights turn up to keep the festivities going in our celebration year symbolizing that our sisterhood is forever and will continue to shine bright. The goal is to turn the world blue—historic landmarks, city buildings, campuses, and personal homes—honoring Alpha Delta Pi’s historic 175th anniversary.
Sisters are invited to light their homes and chapter houses blue on the night of May 15, 2026. Brainstorm in your community buildings or structures (like bridges, monuments, gardens, etc.) that can light up blue for a night. Then contact those places to ask if they would be interested to light up blue and white on May 15. Stay tuned to The Chronicle (sent to all alumnae on the second Tuesday of the month) for more information.

Who collects pop tabs? ADPi sisters do! Throughout August 2026 we need everyone to collect pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House. In celebration of our 175th anniversary, we are challenging our sisterhood to collect 1,750,000 pop tabs. Does that sound overwhelming? Well, 1,750,000 pop tabs only fills 455-gallon bags! And this total is for our entire sisterhood. If you want to get started early and be an over achiever, feel free. Get your campus, community, or place of work involved. There will be graphics to decorate your collection containers. If your local Ronald McDonald House does not participate in pop tab collection, donate to another house or take your pop tabs to a recycle center and redeem them for cash to donate.

Week of Service in 2026 will commemorate 175 years of giving back to our communities. Whether participating with an alumnae association, a chapter, or as an individual, everyone can make a difference.
As we continue to celebrate Alpha Delta Pi’s 175th anniversary, we will honor our tradition of giving back by celebrating our 9th Annual Week of Service October 25-November 1, 2026. This week provides an opportunity for chapters, alumnae associations, house corporations and individual sisters to give back to their community. You can organize a service project to benefit Ronald McDonald House or any other charitable organization. This is a wonderful opportunity for collegiate chapters and alumnae associations to work together. Let’s make this the best Week of Service ever!
