Alpha Delta Pi collegians and alumnae, as well as friends and family members of Alpha Delta Pi, show their philanthropic spirit in many ways. Alpha Delta Pi sisters make an impact on their campuses and in their communities. During the 2022-2023 academic year, Alpha Delta Pi contributed $1,820,000 to charitable organizations, including more than $1,650,000 to local Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) Chapters across the United States and Canada.
We are proud of our long-standing relationship with RMHC. Since our partnership began in 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed more than $20,500,000 to this worthwhile organization. Additionally, as part of the We Believe… Campaign, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation established the Ronald McDonald House Charities Endowment. This fund allows the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation to provide even more resources to RMHC worldwide.
RMHC Endowment at the ADPi Foundation
As part of the We Believe … Campaign for Alpha Delta Pi, a Ronald McDonald House Charities Endowment was established at the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. This fund allows any Ronald McDonald House to apply directly for grants from the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, allowing us to support for:
- Houses that do not have an ADPi chapter or alumnae association nearby supporting them
- New houses being built
- Existing houses being renovated
- Family rooms that are being expanded and renovated
Alpha Delta Pi supports approximately 40% of RMHC’s chapters worldwide, leaving significant room to grow our support for our cherished partner.
How to get involved
The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation needs the help of our chapters and alumnae associations to continue to build this important fund that will exist in perpetuity, always cementing the significant role that RMHC plays in our sisterhood. The Foundation believes that every chapter can be part of this effort and can:
- Host one additional philanthropy event OR
- Increase your current fundraising efforts
And earmark the proceeds from your new event or increased fundraising for the RMHC Endowment Fund at the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation.
Individuals can also support the RMHC Endowment at the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation with a tax-deductible gift to the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation designated for the endowment.
How to apply
In honor and celebration of our 40th Anniversary as a philanthropic partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in 2019, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation began making annual grants from the RMHC Endowment to benefit locations that are not currently well-supported by either a local Alpha Delta Pi collegiate chapter or alumnae association. Support from a local collegiate chapter or alumnae association does not disqualify applicants from receiving a grant.
The 2023 grant application is now closed. Please bookmark this page and come back in early summer 2024 when the 2024 grant application opens.
