175th Anniversary Convention Badge, Guard, and Dangle
A symbol of hope, purity, and truth, the opal has long been considered a magical stone because it reflects all colors. After much searching by Herff Jones, Alpha Delta Pi’s official jeweler, for the first time in decades our badge will be available in crown set opals in recognition of the magic and hope the Alpha Delta Pi sisterhood represents. The 175th Anniversary Convention badge can be enhanced with the addition of a 175 dangle and coat-of-arms guard, another unique option available only for a limited time.

Adelphean Pin and Pendant
Straight from the Sorority’s earliest archives, this beautiful replica of an Adelphean pledge pin is available once again for a limited time. The blue and white enamel reflects the colors chosen by our founders in 1851 to represent loyalty and purity. The word Adelphean across the front signified to Wesleyan students that the wearer had been chosen by the first and finest secret society for women. For our 175th anniversary, the design is available as a stick pin and as a pendant/charm. The pendant/charm is reversible with the blue and white diamond visible on both sides. Adelphean Ring
Available to Alpha Delta Pi members for the first time ever, the Adelphean Ring is modeled after a unique piece displayed for many years in the Adelphean Parlor at the Cannonball House in Macon. The original ring belonged to Louise Reese Gibbes, who attended Wesleyan Academy as a child in Macon from 1901 to 1903. Her sister Ella had joined the Adelphean Society in 1899, and Louise was initiated into Alpha Delta Phi at the 1907 Convention. She joined Iota chapter at Florida State University in 1909 and was active in several Alpha Delta Pi alumnae associations throughout her life. Our four-pointed diamond features prominently in this re-creation with the word Adelphean across the width in homage to our earliest, pioneering sisters. Available for a limited time.

Upon her election to the position of Grand President in 1977, Virginia Rosenberg Stafford, Alpha Beta – Iowa ushered in a new, modern era of sorority. In her installment remarks, Ginny noted that if the Sorority is to achieve its goals, she “will need the enthusiasm and loyalty to Alpha Delta Pi of every member.” After serving as Grand Secretary, Grand Vice President of Collegiate Chapters, and Grand President, Ginny had become quite prolific in her written correspondence—almost always with her distinctive felt-tipped pen. To honor her incredible service and loyalty to our organization, we’ve created this gold-plated, adjustable bolo bracelet bearing our traditional valediction, Loyally, as replicated from one of Ginny’s handwritten letters.
