The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation Awards Grants to Nine Local Ronald McDonald House® Chapters

ATLANTA, GA – In recognition of the 46th anniversary of our partnership with Ronald McDonald House®, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation is excited to announce grants totaling more than $55,000 to nine local Ronald McDonald House Chapters from the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation’s Ronald McDonald House Endowment.

The selected Chapters will receive grants ranging from $1,250 to $15,000 to support their unique needs and special projects. After careful deliberation, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation has selected the following grant recipients:

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana – Create a dedicated mobile snack cart for families receiving care at the Eskenazi Health Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • Ronald McDonald House of Danville (PA) – Replace cooling tower running HVAC units for public areas and guest rooms
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois – Purchase new commercial-grade refrigerator and freezer
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho – Replace worn kitchen equipment and appliances with restaurant-grade supplies
  • Long Beach Ronald McDonald House (CA) – Purchase new commercial-grade ice machine
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maryland – Purchase new refrigerator/freezer to provide grab-and-go options for families
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Indiana – Purchase new high-capacity washer and dryer
  • Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey – Renovate on-site apartment into themed family bedroom suite, increasing capacity to serve up to 15 additional families every month
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest (TX) – Replace door locks with modern keypad/key fob access control system

The Ronald McDonald House Endowment was created as part of the Foundation’s landmark $10,000,000 We Believe Campaign in 2015. Collegiate chapters, alumnae, parents, and friends of Alpha Delta Pi have helped raise more than $1,300,000 to expand the reach of our philanthropic partnership with Ronald McDonald House through this fund. This is the 7th year these endowment grants have been awarded by the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, bringing the total grants awarded from the endowment to more than $275,000.
