Team Alpha Delta Pi in 2025

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, members of Team Alpha Delta Pi run the Bank of America Chicago Marathon for Ronald McDonald House®.

Zeta Chi-Baylor sisters Sacha Sims and Emma Nilstoft met through Alpha Delta Pi and are looking forward to running together again. Sacha shared, “Over the past three years, we’ve volunteered together, strengthening our friendship through service. Running marathons together has become an extension of that shared passion, and Chicago will be our third marathon side by side, with many more to come for causes we love.”

Chicago will be marathon number two for Kayla Kubeczka, Zeta Lambda-Texas A&M. She ran the Chevron Houston Marathon earlier this year. “During my last training cycle, I struggled with consistency and even dealt with injuries that made me question whether I could finish the race at all. There were moments I wanted to quit. But I showed up anyway, and when I crossed that start line, I chose to believe in myself. This time, I’m running for something bigger than me. While I push through early mornings, long runs, and uncomfortable miles, families supported by [Ronald McDonald House] are facing challenges far greater than a marathon. They are fighting for their loved ones and they deserve to focus on what matters most: being together.”

For Madelene Sciortino, Iota Gamma-California, Davis, the reason to run hits close to home: “This cause is deeply personal to me. In October of 2021, when my little sister was hospitalized for nearly two weeks as a baby, my family was able to stay at a Ronald McDonald House. Having a place close to her during such a frightening time meant everything…. Now, nearly five years later, in October of 2026, I’ll be running to help ensure other families can receive that same care and support.”

Sacha, Emma, Kayla, and Madelene join many ADPi sisters, family, and friends who have run as part of the Ronald McDonald House marathon team since 2013. Join us in cheering on this year’s runners as they conquer 26.2 miles in Chicago.
