Alpha Delta Pi Sorority is proud to announce the grand re-opening of the History Center and Hubbard Memorial Gardens at Memorial Headquarters commemorated by a celebration with donors, volunteers, and sisters who have had a great impact in the preservation of history and the completion of this project. This milestone marks a significant chapter in the Sorority’s ongoing commitment to preserving and celebrating 174 years of rich history.

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, approximately 250 Alpha Delta Pi sisters and supporters of this project gathered together including the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation Board of Trustees, the Forever First Campaign Steering Committee, Alpha Delta Pi’s Grand Council, and the ADPi Properties Board. The remarks were made by International Vice President and Forever First Campaign Co-Chair, Jan Alexander Maisch, Epsilon Omega – Jacksonville; Forever First Campaign Co-Chair, Elisse Jones Freeman, Alpha Zeta – Southern Methodist; Forever First Steering Committee member and Facility Resource Director, Chair, Barbara Kinter Kunkel, Delta Kappa – Penn State; International President, Dawn Victor-Herring, Zeta Eta – North Alabama; and Forever First Campaign Steering Committee Member and Alpha Delta Pi Foundation Vice President of Finance, Amy Cook Fisher, Alpha Omicron – Oklahoma State. Following the remarks, the blue ribbon was cut to open the doors and reveal the beauty of the History Center and Gardens. The History Center features artifacts from the Sorority’s founding in 1851 through photos and memorabilia. Also included is a timeline of the Sorority’s progress and wall panels and display cases recounting the many areas Alpha Delta Pi has been the first— Grand Conventions, philanthropic contributions, chapter successes, and the evolution of the brand. It also includes the Trailblazers Room, which highlights ADPi sisters who have made significant impacts in their fields and the lives of others through STEM, media, sports, politics, and more. In the garden, new plantings, upgraded hardscape, and quiet fountains welcome visitors.

“Inside these walls, we have preserved letters, photographs, artifacts, and voices that have shaped who we are. The balance of archive and arbor reflects our duty: to hold fast to what came before, and to keep cultivating what is still to come,” shared International President, Dawn Victor-Herring, Zeta Eta – North Alabama.

The renovations were made possible thanks to the support of those who believed in our shared legacy and gave generously to the Forever First Campaign through the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. The campaign raised more than $4 million to renovate the History Center and Hubbard Memorial Gardens, as well as advance the digital archives and distinguish the gravesites of the six Alpha Delta Pi founders. All efforts are in celebration and commemoration of the Sorority’s 175th Anniversary year in 2026. As the first National Panhellenic Conference Sorority to reach this milestone, the preservation of our history bridges the story of our founding with the future of our sisterhood.

Alpha Delta Pi Memorial Headquarters and Executive Office sit along Ponce de Leon Ave in the historic Druid Hills neighborhood. Originally belonging to the King family, the building was dedicated as the permanent headquarters for the international organization in 1955. Fifty years later, it was re-dedicated with the addition of the executive office space in 2005, and now in 2025, this dedication re-opens the History Center with new and innovative features to continue its legacy.
