Alpha Delta Pi Foundation Awards Grants to Seven Local Ronald McDonald House Charities® Chapters

2023 RMHC Endowment Announcement

ATLANTA, GA - In recognition of the 44th anniversary of our partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®), the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation is thrilled to announce grants totaling more than $45,000 to seven local RMHC Chapters from the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation’s RMHC Endowment.

The selected Chapters will receive grants of $2,000 to $10,000 to support their unique needs and special projects. After careful deliberation, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation has selected the following local RMHC Chapters:

  • RMHC Bay Area (CA) – Assist with final phase of renovation, including required fire suppression system, for the new Ronald McDonald House in Oakland, CA, which will provide housing for families with children in the hospital, including children recovering from bone marrow transplants and their families during critical post-transplant isolation

  • RMHC Dayton (OH) – Assist with construction of a new House that includes larger, family-sized guest rooms, increasing capacity from 14 to 42 families when all construction phases are complete

  • RMHC of Southwest Florida (FL) – Support the operation of two Ronald McDonald Care Mobile® programs, which provide primarily dental services and health screenings to more than 8,000 children annually in low-income areas of the community

The RMHC Endowment was created as part of the Foundation’s landmark $10,000,000 We Believe Campaign in 2015. Collegiate chapters, alumnae, parents, and friends of Alpha Delta Pi have helped raise more than $1,000,000 to expand the reach of our philanthropic partnership with RMHC through this fund.
